Victoria “Tory” DeWaters, Director of Operations

Victoria “Tory” DeWaters serves as the Director of Operations for United Cerebral Palsy of Southwest Florida in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Raised in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, she graduated from the University of North Texas with dual degrees in Psychology and Sociology. She has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for approximately 10 years, and finds she enjoys helping clients and management staff. Her passion is helping others help themselves!

MaryAnn “Maz” Zyla, Director of Adult Day Training

MaryAnn Zyla (MAZ) has enjoyed a career of over 35 years in the field of working with individuals with varying disabilities of all ages. She holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Human Resources Development.  Prior to joining the UCP team in August of 2013, MaryAnn was the Director of Adult Services at a local non-profit, managing an Adult Day Training program as well as Transportation, Employment Services and an alternative school program. She is well connected within the local community and she currently holds the position of President of the Anna Maria Island Privateers which is a local non-profit community service organization.  She is the first woman to hold that position.

Caitlin Trask is the Director of Programs for United Cerebral Palsy of Southwest Florida in Sarasota & Manatee counties.  She oversees all program plans for individuals receiving services from UCP. Catlin is a native of the greater Washington DC area, growing up in Sterling, Virginia.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science is Human Services Management with a focus in Special Education.  Caitlin has been with UCP for five years.  Prior to UCP, Caitlin had extensive academic and professional experience working as a live-in Group Home Manager for Target Community and Educational Services, Inc. Caitlin is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities and in advancing the rights of people with intellectual challenges in her own community.
